Explore Temple Basin Ski Area

Located on the Main Divide of the Southern Alps, Temple Basin is one of the oldest club run ski areas in New Zealand, formed in 1929. With 120 bunks in two lodges right beside the lifts, it’s truly a ski-in, ski -out experience. A goods lift carries your bags and equipment to the lodges from State Highway 73 and while you enjoy the 50 minute hike up via the walking track. Beginner to advanced terrain can be accessed by 3 rope tows across multiple basins, yours to explore!
